The Causeway consists of images that were captured while taking a stroll along the Haji Ali Bay in Mumbai, India. The pictures are the result of mere observation of what was evolving in front of my lens on that particular day and reflect upon my curiosity as a first-time visitor of this place. However, this collection of fleeting instants was turned into a series of moments of transition, where the notion of the ephemeral is still central, but also adds a rather cinematic essence. This ephemeral scenery -which is literally always dependent on the tides- invites the viewer to consider the submerged reality around us and drift into an ontological inquiry.
